If you’ve ever read much about colloidal silver, I am sure you have seen numerous articles claiming colloidal silver is “light sensitive”. I am not sure where most people are getting their information. But, I want to inform you, it’s incorrect! However, colloidal silver is air sensitive. It is important to always keep the lid tightly sealed and only open for a very limited time during use. If you have used our Silver Micro-Water before, you will notice that after using it for a few weeks the area around the opening turning black. This is where the product has had contact with the air. Notice this image below: Left is a newly cleaned silver spoon and Right is a tarnished spoon. The contact it has had with the air has made it so! Unfortunately  you cannot clean your colloidal silver. Just make sure it’s contact with the air is limited and you will avoid discoloring your silver!
